THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL AND STATE LAWS FOR THE PROPER USE OF THIS PRODUCT. Every state has different policies and procedures in place regarding aftermarket LED lighting accessories. LEDGlow is not responsible for any fines that you may receive while using this lighting kit. This kit is for off-road use only. Warning: The installation of this kit is recommended to be installed by a licensed professional. The improper installation of this kit will void all warranties. It is recommended to install each motorcycle lighting strip using Adhesion Tape, which allows for a much stronger bond between the adhesive tape of the light strip and the cleaned mounting surface of your motorcycle. Adhesion Tape is an optional installation accessory that is NOT included with your motorcycle lighting kit. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLING AND OPERATING THIS LED MOTORCYCLE KIT. Motorcycle Kit Installation: 1. Upon receiving your new motorcycle lighting kit, we ask that you first test the kit to ensure it is functioning correctly. Plug the male connections from the strips and control box into the female connections of the harness. Connect the red power wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black ground wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Once the wires are temporarily secure, power the kit to ensure full functionality before installing it. If everything appears to be working correctly, turn the kit off and disconnect the control box’s power and ground wires from the battery. As a safety precaution, disconnect the negative side of the bike’s battery prior to moving forward with installation. 2. Optional: Remove any trim pieces from your motorcycle that may hinder the installation of the lighting strips. 3. Begin by first laying out the LED lighting strips similar to the way they will be installed. Make sure that the wires will be able to be routed in such a way that they will not be pinched, cut, or exposed to heat. Also, keep the wires and strips away from all moving parts that may come in contact with any piece of the kit. IF A POWER WIRE IS PINCHED, IT WILL CAUSE THE KIT TO MALFUNCTION AND WILL VOID THE WARRANTY DUE TO PHYSICAL DAMAGE. • NOTE: There are two leads coming off of the Bluetooth Control Box that you can connect power harnesses to. These leads differentiate between the first zone and the second zone. Please label all of the lights you wish to have on the first zone to one lead, and all of the lights you wish to have on the second zone to the other lead. MOTORCYCLE LIGHTING KIT INCLUDES: • Bluetooth Control Box • (2) Wireless Remotes • Double-Sided Tape Pad • Zip Ties • Motorcycle LED Lighting Strips • (2) Power Harnesses

Temporarily place the motorcycle lighting strips to their intended mounting locations and route the power wires to the planned control box mounting area. Be sure to keep the power wires away from the suspension, any direct heat sources and moving parts. A few recommended locations on your motorcycle to mount the light strips are under the gas tank, lower frame rail, rear fender frame rail, triple trees, lower swing arm, and under the seat. 5. Once the motorcycle lighting strips and wires have been mocked up, clean the proposed mounting surfaces with an alcohol prep pad. The mounting surface should be between 45 and 85 degrees Fahrenheit to achieve the strongest bonding results from the doubled sided adhesive tape. • Note: The surface area must be free of all oils, moisture, dirt, and wax so that the supplied adhesive tape can bond and adhere to the installation surface correctly. • Optional: To achieve the most reliable bond between the lighting strips and the motorcycle, use Adhesion Tape, which is sold separately and can be purchased at www.ledglow.com. 6. Mount each lighting strip to the cleaned and dry surface of the motorcycle by using the supplied Adhesion Tape. Run the wires to the planned location of the control box and secure the wire to the bike frame by using the included zip ties. Be sure to use the zip ties, as this is an essential step and should not be skipped. Once this step is complete and the lighting strips and wires are secure, allow ample time for the adhesive to settle and cure. Repeat this step for the remaining strips included with your kit. 7. The kit uses a modular locking plug system for connecting the motorcycle lighting strips to the control box using the included wire harness. Plug the male connections from the strips and control box into the desired female connections of the harness. DO NOT SHORTEN OR CUT ANYWIRES; YOUWILL VOID THEWARRANTY. 8. Connect the red power wire from the control box to the positive terminal of the battery. If the power wire needs to be extended, be sure to use 16 or 18 gauge automotive grade wire. Be sure to reinstall the fuse within 6 inches of the battery. Connect the black ground wire to the negative terminal of the battery. 9. Connect the blue wire to the 12 volt positive brake signal wire from the tail light. Any time the brake lever or brake pedal are engaged, the kit will enter into the brake light feature. When released, the kit will return to its last setting. 10. If you removed any trim pieces for this installation, you can now reinstall them and test the functionality of your kit by pressing the on/off button on the wireless remote. 11. Reconnect the negative side of the bike’s battery. Wiring Control Box to Motorcycle Red Wire +12v Black Wire -12v Ground Blue Wire Brake Light Control 2 LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com

Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com ® LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com 5 I N S T A L L A T I O N G U I D E Device Pairing Tips & Troubleshooting • Connect the blue wire to the 12 volt positive brake light signal wire from the tail light. Any time the brake lever (or brake pedal) is engaged, the kit will enter into the brake light feature as long as it is turned on in the settings section. (See page 7 for further details.) When released, the kit will return to its last setting. If the Hazard feature is on, then the brake feature will not turn on when the brakes are engaged. Please consult the taillight schematic for the vehicle or have it professionally installed. • Disconnect from the control box when you are not using it to preserve your bike's battery life. This can simply be done by turning off Bluetooth in the Settings of the app. Exiting the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App will not disconnect your iOS device from the controller as the app was designed for multitasking with other apps, such as answering a phone call, or surfing the web and then switching back to the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App. The same can be done in the Android version by either turning off Bluetooth in the Settings app, or by shutting down the app by double tapping on your device’s “Back” button while inside the app. • This control box is designed with a power save mode that automatically turns on after 8 hours of inactivity. This allows the control box to draw minimum power, ensuring it does not drain your motorcycle’s battery. It may take an additional minute when attempting to reconnect back to the controller while it is currently in power save mode, if you are using iOS. To prevent any battery drain when not in use, you can install the control box to a 12 volt switched source to completely remove power at your choosing. • If you have Bluetooth switched “On” in your Settings app and the controller is powered, your iOS device will attempt to connect to the controller whenever it is in range. You do not need to pair and manually connect to the controller after the initial setup if you are using the same device. Your Android device will connect once your device pairs to your control box and you open the app. • In the event that your Android/iOS device cannot connect to the controller, try one of the following: ʂ Restart/Power Cycle your Android/iOS device ʂ Restart your Bluetooth enabled control box by disconnecting power to it for 20 seconds • The control box operates independently from the app. If your Android/iOS device is not available for use, the control box provides full lighting functionality with color, mode, and speed buttons. This kit is designed to fully operate in conjunction with the wireless remote and without the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App. You cannot save any presets from the remote; therefore, once you reopen the app, the current lighting configuration shown on your device’s screen will be immediately synchronized back to the controller. • You can have only one phone paired to your control box at a time. To pair a different device, disconnect the first device within the device's Bluetooth settings and pair the second device as described on pages 3 or 4, depending on the device's operating system.

8 LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com ® I N S T A L L A T I O N G U I D E Wireless Remote Functions This kit provides multiple lighting patterns and several brightness levels, which are easily operated using the included wireless remote. The remote includes four buttons, “A, B, C, D” Reprogramming the Wireless Remote: Make sure your Advanced Million Color Control Box with Smartphone Control is powered and the LED status indicator is solid yellow. This will indicate that your control box is now ready to be paired to your device. If the LED status indicator is red, disconnect power and reconnect. When the LED turns yellow, press and hold the A button on the remote for 5 seconds to complete the pairing process. Troubleshooting: If the kit or lights do not appear to operate, first check the installed inline mini fuse. If the fuse is blown, check the wires on the entire kit to ensure they are not cut, pinched, or scorched. If there is no damage to any of the wires and no water damage is visible to the control box, replace the fuse and test the kit again. If the inline fuse is intact, clean both the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Corrosion to the battery terminals can cause a poor connection or simulate being disconnected.
